One week down, two more to go…
For months now the idea that I need to be in Germany had been tugging at my heart. Naturally, I thought that God wanted to send me to Europe to expand my business. How wrong I was! Yes, business is good, but the reason I am here is definitely not doTERRA. I never thought that my faith would be questioned and tested the way it has.
At first I thought that I have to protect God and argue with everyone that feels the need to bombard me with what they call scientific evidence… and about how wrong I am. After taking time to just be still and pray, I realized that there is no need for me to argue or to defend my Heavenly Father; it’s quite alright for me to just let everyone know how good my God has been to me and that Jesus and prayer has completely changed my life and just leave it at that. Today I had a super proud moment. I went to visit my stepdad at the hospital with my mom and decided to not just pray by myself, but in a fully packed Hospital lunch room, grabbed my parents’ hands and started blessing our food. Both my mom and my stepdad completed my prayer with a loud AMEN. For those of you that know my parents personally, you know that they have started to come around and join us at church sometimes, but are usually uncomfortable to praying with me in public. My heart was so unbelievably happy.
I know if nothing else, I came to Europe to be even stronger in my faith. I have learned that I am truly never alone. Jesus is holding my hand even if it’s just me and him. I WILL NOT BE SHAKEN
James 1:3 NLT
“For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.”
Dear God thank you for this wonderful day, please continue to give me opportunities to grow in your name. Thank you for sending me to Germany even though I miss my family and friends terribly I understand that this is where I need to be right now, even if I feel out of place and alone here I can feel your presence and your love. Please help me to reach and touch the hearts of those in need. In Jesus mighty name I pray. AMEN
