Is anything worth more than your soul?
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your soul? Maybe this question comes easier to you than it has me. I had to dig way deep to figure out what the purpose of my soul is. I thought that my soul represented a safe, and all my mess-up’s and mistakes were just stored there ready for me to count. ?
Wow, I’m still not sure how many times I sold my soul to the devil in my 43 short years of being here on earth. Phew! Thank God that, just like most of my negative thoughts are changing, I’m learning how this soul thing works, though not as fast as I’d like. However, digging deep does pay off. The change started when I chose to stop selling my soul, and learned to forgive myself. The moment I told the devil my soul is not for sale, he really went all out in trying to win me over. He presented me with tempting offers like clearing stores, of people, on black Friday…just me shopping. He even threw in an additional 75% discount on everything.
Learning that the Holy Spirit is what occupies my soul, is what changed everything. I now feel like I must protect my soul from any and everything. My soul is precious, filling up with light more and more, which makes me think about the recent eclipse. In Williamsburg VA, we lost 85% of sunlight and it was still bright. So, fact is that light is “ALWAYS ALWAYS” stronger than darkness. Therefore, to Mark’s question; NO, nothing is worth more than my soul!!! I would love to hear about your soul search
